The DramFest 'Main Event'

The Main Event is held on Saturday the 25th February 2012, from 2pm to 6pm, in the DramFest Marquee at Peterborough Street, Christchurch, opposite the Christchurch Casino.

On arrival you are provided with a Dramfest Glencairn Glass (to keep) a DramFest Pen and a DramFest catalogue, which has a stand guide, all whiskies present with prices and also room for tasting notes.

There will be 30 to 37 stands present representing around 50 different whisky houses/distilleries, each stand will have between 3 and 10 whiskies on display with a number open for tastings.

There is also present 11 visiting experts at some of these stands and at all stands well trained and informed staff and brand ambassadors. These good folk will be able to advise and guide you through some of the finer points of what they represent.

The tickets for the Main Event allows entry to the Marquee and the opportunity to gain knowledge of a very broad range of whisky through sampling and talking to these experts.

In addition we have a break out area for a rest, coffee and food.
