Jonathan is delighted to be returning to New Zealand and to be invited to attend the second DramFest.

With ten years in the trade Jonathan started out in the footsteps of Japanese market veteran, Nick Wright (retired), where they covered the host of specialist single malt bars springing up there.  His area now takes him across Asia-Pacific and regularly to India, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea and Japan.

Ian Macleod Distillers regularly select and distribute a number of premium single cask bottling from across the distilleries and regions in addition to their own illustrious Glengoyne Highland Single Malt portfolio.

Amongst his many “industry” moments, Jonathan recalls hand-carrying a £(pound)26,000 bottle of single malt for a renowned collector on an Edinburgh-London Heathrow flight several years ago!

Jonathan originally hails from the North East of Scotland (or, in distillery currency, halfway between Glen Garioch and Glendronach)
