Darren Hosie is Chivas Brothers youngest Brand Ambassador. Born and bred in Glasgow, Scotland, Darren has travelled and worked extensively in Europe. Returning to Scotland, Darren brings excellent communication skills especially in French and Spanish.

Darren has always been passionate about Scotch whisky and brings a detailed knowledge of many of Scotland's single malt and blended whiskies to his role as Brand Ambassador for Chivas Brothers. This passion is brought to bear in his day to day work explaining the Scotch whisky production process, conducting nosing & tasting sessions in Speyside and abroad, and interacting with trade guests and consumers from all backgrounds.

In 2007, Darren moved to be based in the Chivas Brothers' Hong Kong office in order to take up a position as Brand Ambassador Asia-Pacific. His duties included spending two weeks per month travelling in mainland China educating on the Chivas Brothers' brand, in particular Ballantine's, Royal Salute and Chivas Regal.

In 2009, Darren's role developed further with commercial responsibilities for Hong Kong, the Philippines and Indonesia.

Darren's enthusiasm for his job is exemplified in his famous 'Address to the Haggis' which is known for its 'braveheart' ferocity! Darren holds a BA (Hons) degree in French and Spanish from the University of Strathcylde.
